Milton Harold 'Hal' Lintz, Jr.
December 25, 1945 - December 24, 2007

Milton Harold “Hal” Lintz, Jr., 61 yrs. old, a resident of Metairie, LA, died at Ochsner Hospital on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 3:24 AM following a long illness.

Son of the late Milton H. Lintz, Sr. and the late Anna Lu Fort Lintz, brother of Eileen Ruth Lintz Madrid of Metairie, LA. Survivors also include his uncle, G. Kendall Shaw of New York, and several cousins, principally in Louisiana and Florida. Hal Lintz was born in New Orleans on Christmas Day,1945 and grew up in Old Metairie. He attended Metairie Junior High School, and graduated from St. Martin’s Episcopal School and USL in Lafayette.

Hal relocated to Pensacola, Florida where he taught science at Woodham High School from 1971 until 1994. While at Woodham, Hal was awarded Master Teacher of the Year for Escambia County. In 1995, Hal returned to Metairie, LA and then taught at Isidore Newman School and St. Mary’s Dominican High School where he established a scholarship for students with financial need.
